To get the maximum combination of safety and speed out of your G-Speed Studio, we at MediaDrives.ie recommend setting your unit to 'RAID 5' which means you lose 25% of your storage capacity (so a 24TB becomes an 18TB) but in the unlikely event one of the 4 internal enterprise class drives failing over the years, your data is still fully protected and can be rebuilt from the remaining 3 internal drives.
